Overview
Honeywell is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. They deliver industry specific solutions that include aerospace products and services; control technologies for buildings and industry; safety and productivity solutions; and performance and performance materials globally. With a workforce of 110,000 employees, Honeywell has over 970 international sites and is present in 70 countries. This year, Honeywell made $33B in sales and was a Fortune 100 company.
Honeywell has four core values that its business practices are modeled after. They support employee volunteerism in the community, integrity and compliance, sustainability, and inclusion and diversity. This has allowed them to consistently innovate and bring change to the industry. Honeywell claims credit for some of the biggest inventions of the last century— including autopilot, the most widely used barcode, and unleaded gasoline.
In 2020, Honeywell partnered with QatarGas to implement a project innovative in its scale. Honeywell was selected as the main instrument and control contractor to support the North Field East (NFE) project, the largest LNG project in the world. Honeywell’s technology will provide the NFE project with streamlined automation and safety systems while reducing schedule risks and delivering efficiencies.
